Choclate cake
Ingredients
- 190 g butter
- 100 g chocolate
- 125 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g flour
- 80 g cornflour
- 5 g baking powder
Directions
- Melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler or in the microwave.
- Separate egg whites from yolks. Whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until the mixture lightens in colour.
- Add the melted chocolate and butter and whisk, add the flour, cornflour and baking powder.
- Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, and gently fold them into the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a greased and floured cake mold, and bake to 180°C for approximately 45 minutes.
- Unmold, let cool and serve.
