Pizza dough

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp yeast
  • 5 cups flour

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix water, milk, oil, sugar and salt together. In a pan or in the microwave heat the mixture until lukewarm.
  2. Add yeast and mix well. Cover with cling wrap and let it sit for 15 minutes until the yeast is dissolved.
  3. Add flour and mix with your hands until the dough is slightly sticky.
  4. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it sit in fridge at least 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  5. When ready to make pizza, dust work surface with flour and roll out the dough into large rounds using a rolling pin. The dough needs to be very thin as it will rise in the oven.
  6. Add your favourite toppings and bake.
