Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients

  • 110 g butter
  • 120 g Black chocolate
  • 2 eggs
  •  250 g granulated sugar
  • 70 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 120 g sifted flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 220 g chocolate chunks

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 165°C (325 F).
  2. In a mixing bowl combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  3. Melt the butter and the black chocolate together in the microwave or bain marie.
  4. Beat the eggs and sugar with a hand mixer until light and fluffy. Add the chocolate mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Add the flour mixture and stir until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chunks.
  6. Using a tablespoon, drop dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake until cookies are flat and surfaces crack, about 12-14 minutes.
  8. let them cool completely before moving them.
