Choclate cake

Ingredients

 

  • 190 g butter
  • 100 g chocolate
  • 125 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g flour
  • 80 g cornflour
  • 5 g baking powder

Directions

  1. Melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler or in the microwave.
  2. Separate egg whites from yolks. Whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until the mixture lightens in colour.
  3. Add the melted chocolate and butter and whisk, add the flour, cornflour and baking powder.
  4. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, and gently fold them into the mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased and floured cake mold, and bake to 180°C for approximately 45 minutes.
  6. Unmold, let cool and serve.
